British Excel At Reporting Paranormal Activity

05.16.2010 · Posted in Demons, Ghosts, Hauntings, Miscellaneous

According to the Telegraph, reports of paranormal occurrences has been at an all-time high in the last 25 years.  The article breaks down the types of sightings and notes the most-affected areas. I now feel ripped-off having not seen anything unusual at all (well, nothing paranormal, anyway, some of the behavior of people on my tour group was definitely unusual) during my day in Wiltshire last year.

The article doesn’t mention the time frame of reference being used, but it does state that the increase in population could be the reason for the rise in reporting. I would also guess that better recordkeeping could be at work.

The information comes from a report, “Demonic Britain,” which was compiled for a DVD release of the CW network television show, Supernatural.

  1. Update:

According to the Sunderland Echo, Durham County’s many haunted sites have earned the county its own article in Paranormal Magazine.
